Man elopes with 14-year-old sister-in-law after leaving his wife at her parents’ home; police launch hunt
Greater Noida – A 25-year-old married man allegedly lured and ran away with his 14-year-old sister-in-law while dropping his wife off at her parental house in the Dankaur police-station area. The girl’s family has filed an abduction case against him, and police have assured them the teenager will soon be rescued and the accused arrested.
The victim’s father, a local resident, told officers that the accused, Ashok, is their son-in-law—married to their elder daughter. Ashok often visited his in-laws’ neighbourhood, frequently came to their house, and was in regular phone contact with the family. Over time, he allegedly gained the trust of the 14-year-old and convinced her to go with him.
On Monday, Ashok brought his wife to her parents’ home for a short stay. While everyone was busy, he is believed to have quietly taken the girl away. When the family realised she was missing hours later, they searched everywhere but found no trace.
They reported the incident on Friday at Dankaur police station. Inspector Munendra Singh said special teams have been formed and efforts are on to trace both the girl and the accused.
