Yashoda Medicity is a 3,000-bed, multi-super-specialty “medicity’’ project built by the Hyderabad-based Yashoda Group on a 45-acre campus at Hapur bypass, Ghaziabad. Designed to be UP’s largest free-standing single-location hospital complex, it merges quaternary clinical care, medical education and translational research under one roof. The complex comprises five towers ranging from B+G+21 floors, three boutique hotels for patients and their families, and a dedicated medi-education tower affiliated with Yashoda Institute of Medical Sciences & Research that will run a 150-seat medical college and eight paramedical institutes.

At full capacity, the flagship healthcare block houses 75 operation theaters, 800 consultation suites, 60 intensive-care beds per specialty cluster and a 24-floor central diagnostics tower equipped with four robotic cath labs, three intra-op MRI suites and India’s first integrated proton-beam plus cyberknife hub outside Delhi-NCR. Emergency services are accessed via a “drive-in trauma bay’’ built to Level 1 protocol capable of handling 700 patients a day, with air-ambulance connectivity via two rooftop helipads and a 200-meter landing strip on the campus periphery.

The clinical portfolio spans 37 centers of excellence, notable among them being the Comprehensive Transplant Centre (kidney, liver, pancreas, heart, lung, bone-marrow and cornea with paired-exchange registry), Centre for Integrated Cancer Care (surgical-medical-radiation-proton therapy under one care path), Brain & Spine Institute with a hybrid OR/Neuro-MR suite, Advanced Cardiac Centre comprising four dedicated heart-lung ICUs, Centre for Woman & Child Health with 180 NICU cots and the largest single-location IVF lab north of Nagpur.

Digital backbone is formed by Yashoda ONE, a cloud-native HIS/EMR system linked to 8,000 IoT-enabled beds and a command centre using AI-ML to optimise bed occupancy, blood-stock and staff deployment. Patients interface through a SuperApp supporting OPD tele-consults, bedside ordering and digital discharge summaries. The entire campus is 100 % paperless and claims response time from bed-side to discharge summary is <7 minutes. On the education and research axis, Medicity currently runs 220 DM/MCh and 60 Ph.D. seats, collaborates with University of California-Davis for gene-therapy trials and hosts North India’s first BSL-3 biobank. In partnership with the IPGMER Kolkata, it incubates IIT-Kanpur spinoffs for AI in radiology and molecular diagnostics while running an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school within the campus. Sustainability credentials include 4 MW rooftop solar, a membrane-based STP with 600 KLD recycling, 95 % wet-waste conversion to biogas and LEED Platinum pre-certification. Special lounges, prayer rooms and dietary counters tailor to international patients from SAARC, CIS and East Africa. Accreditations in place are NABH, NABL, JCI (stage-2 audit cleared) and ISO 14001.
