White Canvas Preschool & Day Care stands on Plot 14, Knowledge Park-V, Greater Noida, a bright, low-rise campus framed by wide service roads and ample visitor parking. Conceived as a co-learning home for children 18 months to 5½ years, the school blends the Reggio Emilia philosophy with India’s Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) framework. Consequently, literacy workrooms, sensorial labs and maker corners replace fixed classrooms, while glass partition walls let teachers observe without intruding.

The preschool offers Parent–Toddler, Play, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, KG and Prep-1 programmes. Daily rhythm is built around “learning stories”: 20-minute project blocks where small groups pursue one provocation—building a township from recycled cartons, mapping shadows at different hours, or composing a rain-song with handmade instruments. Hindi and English emerge organically through rhymes and conversation; specialist modules for Sanskrit phonetics, Mandarin sounds and Spanish greetings begin in Nursery. Weekly nature-walks to the adjoining Surajpur wetland and quarterly field-trips to Shanker’s doll museum, Lok Virasat, and HAL aerospace centre deepen context.

Assessment is purely narrative; every child carries a wooden “canvas cube” on which teachers pin photographs, mini-drafts and audio QR codes that parents can scan. Three individual sessions, three parent-teacher-meets and one e-portfolio exhibition are scheduled each term to track 70 developmental indicators spanning executive function, socio-emotional regulation and creative logic.

The Day-Care wing, licensed under the UP Shops & Establishment Act 1963 and ISO 29993:2021 Learning Services, runs from 8:30 am to 7 pm, Monday-Saturday (optional Sunday camp). It is staffed by 12 primary caregivers, two paediatric nurses, a nutritionist and a full-time lactation counsellor for infants. Cubs (6-18 m), Bears (19 m-3 y), and Lions (3-5½ y) occupy separate yet visually connected zones that include a sensory soft gym, library hammock, Mont-reggio inspired shelves, nap cocoons and a light-and-shadow studio turning orange at sunset to cue circadian rest.

Meals are prepared in-house under the guidance of a dietitian attached to Jaypee Hospital. Breakfast, two fruit breaks, lunch, soup supper and an optional 6 pm mini-meal (clear dal, khichdi, fruit custard, whole-wheat muffin) are served on eco-friendly steel thalis. CCTV is streamed on encrypted links; the facial-recognition gate issues real-time in-out alerts to guardians. UV-SITRA washrooms, air-washed indoor ducts and an OSHA-audited 22-point safety drill assure hygiene.

Founder-director Neha Malhotra, alumna of IIM-A and ECE specialist from UBC Canada, heads the 45-member staff; the teacher-student ratio of 1:8 is sustained by continuous PD: fortnightly Reggio reference circles, CPR & first-aid refreshers, and quarterly theatre-in-education workshops by National School of Drama alumni. Fees: INR 14K-36K per quarter across age groups; sibling discount 12%. Transportation covers over 26 sectors with GPS-tracked cabs and female attendants trained in POCSO protocol.
