Vishal International School is a co-educational English-medium institution located on the outskirts of Rajpur, Uttar Pradesh, set amid 10 acres of landscaped campus at the junction of NH-24 and Rajpur-Lucknow bypass. Established in 1991 under the aegis of the Vishal Shiksha Samiti, the school draws upon three decades of experience to offer a balanced blend of academic rigor, creative expression, and ethical grounding from Pre-Nursery through Class XII. It is affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 2131567) and is recognized by the Department of Education, U.P.

Academic life at Vishal International is organized into three wings: 14 Smart-classroom blocks for the Pre-Primary (Nursery-UKG), Primary (I-V), and Senior (VI-XII) sections. The average class size is 28 students, guided by a 78-strong faculty whose student-teacher ratio of 10:1 allows sustained mentorship. Science streams (PCM/PCB), Commerce (Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics), and Humanities (History, Political Science, Sociology) are offered in Classes XI-XII; Mathematics remains an optional add-on. The curriculum is further layered with ICT, Robotics, French/Sanskrit language options, and value-education modules mapped to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Facilities include three laboratories each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science, a fully automated 14,000-volume library networked with DELNET, and a recently commissioned Atal Tinkering Lab for innovation projects. Sports infrastructure spans an Olympic-size Astroturf field for football, cricket wickets with turf and cement strips, two synthetic basketball courts, volleyball and badminton courts, and a 25-metre temperature-controlled swimming pool. The indoor sports complex houses five TT tables, a six-lane shooting range, three badminton courts, and a modular yoga hall. A 400-seat auditorium with 4K projection hosts daily assemblies and the annual international film festival co-curated by the senior film society.

Pastoral care rests on a house system (Jupiter, Neptune, Mercury, Venus) wherein inter-house contests run concurrently with leadership programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. The counselling cell is staffed by a trained psychologist and three special educators who oversee wellness weeks and peer-buddy circles. Anti-bullying squads and a digital grievance portal, monitored by a Child Safety Committee, ensure transparent redressal.

Extracurricular breadth ranges from MUN delegations that regularly represent India, the V-Crew Robotics Team (national champions 2023), six National Cadet Corps troops (Army & Air wings), and a Chevening-linked English debating society. Weekly hobby clubs (Tabla, Dance, Photography, Culinary Arts) meet on Wednesdays. Students also manage the in-house community radio “V-89 FM” broadcasting environment-themed podcasts to 12 local villages.

School timing is 7:30 am to 1:30 pm for classes up to V and 7:30 am to 2:30 pm for VI-XII; Saturdays remain full working days for eight-club timetable slots. Annual fee averages ₹1.84 lakh (includes tuition, uniform, day-meals, and one foreign trip add-on). Admissions are conducted in January-February through an aptitude test and observation round; external scholarships cover up to 75 % tuition for meritorious or economically weaker students.
