The Khaitan School stands on a lush eight-acre campus in Sector-40 of NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1995 by the Khaitan family of the KK Khaitan Group, the school was conceived as a forward-looking response to India’s post-liberalisation need for inventive, confident citizens. From 80 founding-day learners it has grown to 2,800 students from pre-nursery to class XII, still housed in the same verdant enclave that architect Sanjay Prakash designed around two central courtyards, flood-lit amphitheatre and rain-water harvesting channels.

Affiliated to the CBSE (Affl. No. 2130386), the school follows the national curriculum enriched with an internal CBSE-i module in classes VI–X. Early years work on the experiential “Sparsh” programme—story mats, math-lab corners and speaking-lists—before moving to an integrated primary syllabus that blends Cam- bridge EVS themes with Indian literacy expectations. Middle school introduces French/Sanskrit options, Design-Thinking modules, and the flagship “Khaitan Edge” interdisciplinary projects. Seniors may study core-science or commerce-IP pipelines alongside electives such as Legal Studies, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, and Mass-Media Production. An optional IB Diploma pathway is being phased in from the 2024-25 batch, creating India’s first hybrid CBSE-IB vertical under one roof.

Sixty-one laboratories—composite science, ATAL Tinkering, forensic, geospatial, AI-Robotics, media, and microprocessor—occupy the northern block. The library complex houses 33,000 books, 4 journals in Braille and a digital “Oxford Reading Buddy” cloud. Sports facilities include a six-lane 400 m track, David Lloyd-approved tennis hardcourts, two swimming pools (25 m competitive + learner), and a basement shooting range with electronic Scatt targets. A 700-seat auditorium doubles as the cultural nerve-center and 9-D VR planetarium. Students have represented Uttar Pradesh at national chess, gymnastics and cricket Khelo-India clusters; the girls’ football team won the Subroto Cup U-14 trophy in 2022.

Faculty cadre: 207 teachers, 28 mentors with CBSE Master-Trainer certification, faculty attrition below 5 %. Each teacher commits to 24 hours of professional development annually through tie-ups with Harvard’s Project Zero, NIE Singapore and Mirandari Centre for Literacy. The school also runs a Teacher Research Cell where staff co-author papers on assessment redesign.

Pastoral care is structured around a house-mother system and the fully resident counsellors in the “Bright Start Centre” that diagnoses and supports neuro-diverse learners through certified shadow-teachers and occupational therapy. Annual fee range: ₹1.8–2.9 lakh (transport/lunch inclusive). Scholarships cover 7 % of seats through the Khaitan Merit & Means Programme.

Headed by Mrs. Maithreyi Satyadev (alumna of Lady Shri Ram College, M.Ed Cambridge), the administrative council reports to a 17-member board chaired by Mr. Vivaan Khaitan.
