St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, stands on a 5-acre green campus just off Sector 4 roundabout, barely ten minutes from the Hindon Airport metro station. Established in 2009 by the St. John’s Education & Welfare Society, it was envisaged as a day-boarding K-XII institution rooted in the philosophy of “Sapienta et Virtus” – Wisdom & Virtue. Affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 2132431) and running classes from Kindergarten to Grade XII, the school currently nurtures close to 2,000 learners under the mentorship of 180 qualified teachers.
Academically, the curriculum is offered in three streams—Science (PCM, PCB, PCMB), Commerce with IP, Maths & Informatics Practices, and Humanities with Psychology, Legal Studies and Economics. From Grade VI onward, all students complete a supervised ‘Supper Study Hour’ that integrates doubt-clarification by subject faculty and peer tutoring, part of the signature day-boarding model that allows optional extended care until 5 p.m. for working parents. Every classroom is digital-ink enabled with ViewBoard interactive panels and a MIS that shares real-time performance analytics with parents every fortnight.
Co-curricular depth runs wide. In STEM, the ATAL Tinkering Lab with 3-D printers, an indigenous Ozobot fleet and Eagle Flight simulators feeds into Maker Saturdays. Performing & Visual Arts flourish in the 450-seat amphitheatre, mirrored dance lounges and a visual-arts gallery that frames annual IBMB (Indian-Bharat-Mughal-Baroque) week. Competitive sport happens on a 125 m running track with in-built IAAF certified timing gates, a semi-Olympic 8-lane swimming pool, two FIBA-standard indoor courts and a rifle-shooting range run in partnership with the National Rifle Association. Over 120 inter-house events span aquatics, chessboxing, archery tag and futsal to ensure every child finds their niche.
Pastoral life is scaffolded by the House system—Augustines, Chrysostoms & Gregories, each led by House Deans and a prefect body trained in Round Square leadership modules. Up-cycled vertical gardens maintained by students offset 1.1 t of CO₂ yearly, earning the Green Schools Platinum rating three years in a row; community outreach includes skill-training twice a month for 180 girls at the neighbouring Khoda village. Heritage clubs repair old Hindi-English bilingual books every quarter, delivering them as “Granny Library Kits” to mobile crèches across Noida. The career-counselling cell, staffed by two certified psychologists and a UCAS-NACAC trained coordinator, organises India-UK-USA college fairs in July and January; last graduating batch placed 17 % at NID, NIFT & SPA, 31 % received Tier-I DU seats and 26 % opted for Wox-Year Overseas bridge programmes.
Annual tuition ranges from INR 1.05 lakhs (K) to 1.68 lakhs (XII), with need-based fee remission for up to 12 % of students under the Father McGrath Scholarship Fund.
