Silverstone School, located in the upscale Silverstone suburb of Nairobi County, Kenya, is a co-educational day and boarding institution that combines heritage architecture with twenty-first-century learning. Spread across forty acres of tea-green lawns and manicured gardens, its main building is a tastefully renovated colonial-era mansion whose white verandas are wrapped in purple bougainvillea. Academically, Silverstone follows the British curriculum from Early Years (Foundation Stage 1) through A-Level. Boarders (Grades 4-13) live in four gender-segregated houses—Kingfisher, Falcon, Eagle, and Hawk—each guided by live-in house-parents and a resident counsellor. Evening facilities include a 300-seat black-box theatre equipped with LED cyclorama lights, a 25 m heated swimming pool, a multipurpose indoor arena certified for FIBA youth basketball and IBSA blind-football, and a newly installed 10-metre climbing wall.
