Samurja International School, Greater Noida (West), is a co-educational day-boarding and residential campus offering Cambridge Assessment International Education from Pre-Nursery to A-Level (3 – 18 years). Spread across 20 landscaped acres near Tech Zone-4, the school fronts the Yamuna Expressway with dual-entry security and an 800-strong parking zone for parents and visitors.
The academic heart is an IB-designed Primary Years Learning Centre with flexible studios, mobile seating and discovery bays for experiential science, robotics and visual arts. Cambridge Primary is delivered through an inquiry-driven bilingual programme (English-Hindi with Mandarin offered from Grade 4). Secondary students follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE (20 subjects including Global Perspectives, Marine Science and Art & Design) and A-Level (STEM, Commerce & Humanities streams). Average class strength is 22; teacher-student ratio is 1 : 8. The faculty cohort of 120 includes 25 examiners for CAIE, IB experience holders and four Ph.D. holders. Ninety-nine percent of graduates progress to QS-100 universities, most recently to Imperial College London, UBC and NUS.
Pastoral care operates through the vertical House system—Einstein, Teresa, Tagore and Musk—and boarding houses (separate for boys and girls, Grades 5-12). Boarders live in four-bed suites with in-house counselors and “dukebox” micro-living lounges. All students follow the RULER social-emotional curriculum certified by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.
Infrastructure features a two-storey Library & Research Commons (24,000 volumes, JSTOR access, podcast booth), an Ideas Lab with 3-D printing and embedded AI teaching-assistants, and five science suites attached to a 120-seat tiered lecture theatre. Outdoor facilities include FIFA-standard 110 m x 70 m football turf, an acrylic Olympic-size swimming pool, a nine-hole golf putting range, a 25-m indoor shooting range, and an equestrian arena with six imported Marwari horses. A 750-seat auditorium with anamorphic projection hosts the annual SAMTECH confluence and MUN.
Annual trips span NASA-Houston, CERN, Tonlé Sap ecology camp and Himalayan service-learning. Students also partner with Mayo College, Georgetown Preparatory and Hill-Spring for reciprocal exchanges.
Co-curricular signature programmes: Samurja Symphony Orchestra, AI & Ethics Fellowship with IIT-Delhi incubation wing, and the Edu-Aero drone racing league. Student-run enterprises include Samurja Coffee Roasters and an on-campus fintech blockchain lab audited by Ernst & Young scholars.
