RPS International School stands on a 15-acre environmentally designed campus in Sector-89, Gurugram. The senior-secondary, English-medium institution is affiliated to CBSE (affiliation no. 531985) and offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams from Grade XI. Its architecture blends exposed brick, glass atriums and shaded courtyards that cut heat load by forty percent and serve as informal learning pockets.

Academic life is organised around “Question-Create-Reflect” cycles. Foundation classes (Nur-V) learn through stories, gardening and Montessori labs; the middle school (VI-VIII) works on Tinkercad, Kathak and French A1 modules; senior grades use Chromebooks, 3-D printing and an in-house Makerspace while preparing for CBSE and NEET-JEE/CLAT/CA Foundation. Monthly “Research Saturdays” see every child frame an inquiry, conduct experiments in the physics-roof, chemistry-niche or robotics arena and present findings to peers and parents. Average class strength stays at 24, and each grade has a dedicated mentor teacher who logs socio-emotional data to adapt the timetable weekly.

The faculty body of 210 includes 21 PhDs, 27 NET/JRF scholars and two Fulbright alumni. Continual development is driven by an on-campus Cambridge-accredited teacher studio that runs Friday micro-workshops on topics ranging from “Reggio-inspired provocations” to “AI in assessment”. Since 2020 the school has partnered with IIT-Bombay for an AI-for-all curriculum that culminates in Grade IX students training their own computer-vision model to spot plant disease in the school’s organic farm.

Co-curricular breadth matches academic depth. All 1,860 learners choose one sport and one art as “signature tracks”. Facilities list an Olympic-size swimming pool with mood-mapping LED lights, two FIFA-grade football pitches, a nine-hole chipping green, rifle-shooting 10-m range and a 500-seat auditorium with Meyer sound. Students recently formed India’s first school-based women’s baseball team, winning a silver at the 2023 School Games Federation nationals. Performing Arts runs six levels of Hindustani vocal certification under Prayag Sangeet Samiti and an original Annual Musical each December.

Pastoral care sits at the heart. Each house (Agni, Prithvi, Jal, Vayu) has a resident counsellor, and “Mind-Body labs” track bio-feedback during exams using HRV sensors. The cafeteria serves macro-calculated, made-from-scratch meals; nutritionists e-mail weekly reports to parents and local farmers deliver fresh produce daily. Annual Wellness Week includes parent-child sleep studies in partnership with AIIMS-Delhi.

Community outreach is institutionalised. The micro-satellite club built “RPS-SAT1”, launched aboard ISRO’s PSLV C56 to map air quality over North India. Rural immersion trips to Mewat distribute 200 solar lamps hand-assembled in the physics lab. Scholarships: the “Dr O P Bhalla Scholars” programme grants 50 seats at 100 percent fee remission to village science toppers.

Chairman Dr R P Singhal’s vision—“education that breathes with the planet”—is seen in living roofs that harvest 3 lakh litres of rain-water annually, a 250 kW rooftop solar plant and a student-led Green Audit tracking every kilowatt and kilo-waste.
