RIMS International School – Undri, Pune, was founded in 2009 by the RIMS Educational Society as the sister campus to its pioneering preschool brand that began in 2003. The school is purpose-built on a 1.8-acre walled campus behind the Corinthian Club off Nyati County Road. A gated double-entry and 24-hour manned security station create a safe, inward-looking quadrangle of buildings set among lawns, fruit trees and a central assembly court. Purpose-built structures include an air-conditioned academic block, an Arts & Performing Studio and a separate sports and recreation annex. Classrooms are 550 sq ft, bright and modular, with pin boards and projector-linked smart boards for KG–Grade 10. The same block also houses two composite science labs, robotics & AI lab, math lab, senior computer lab (1:1 Chromebook ratio) and a well-stocked junior library of 4,200 volumes connected via fibre-optic broadband. Wireless RFID attendance and CCTV on every floor give parents streaming access through the RIMS Parent App.

Academically the school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) up to Grade 10 since 2012 and in process for Senior Secondary approval. It follows an Integrated Curriculum at pre-primary, CBSE-i hybrid from Grades 1–5, and full-syllabus CBSE with international benchmarking from Grade 6. Cambridge ICT Starters is offered from Grade 4; Trinity College London assessments are conducted for speech & drama. Average teacher–student ratio is 1:15 with twenty-five full-time postgraduate faculty, many with global certifications such as IB and Harvard’s Project Zero. Monthly lesson study circles and lesson demonstrations ensure rigorous benchmarking against India’s top “HIP” (High-Impact Practice) network schools in Delhi and Singapore.

Co-scholastic depth underpins the RIMS learning promise. The performing wing houses a 200-seat black-box theatre and SPF-certified music studios where every child learns either guitar, piano, tabla, violin, or vocals until Grade 8. Sports infrastructure surrounds the block: a 25 m FIFA-spec artificial turf football field, basketball court & roller-skating rink, a semi-Olympic 15 m indoor temperature-controlled swimming pool, age-level climbing & gymnastic zones, and a 30-seat archery range. Students engage with project partners: Inter-IIT swimming coaches, Champion’s Tennis Academy and AIFF-licensed football trainers. The F1-in-Schools project holds regional champions status since 2021.

Pastoral care is delivered through house-systems called Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Early morning mindfulness, peer mentoring and a trained full-time counselor create a safe circle. Student-lead initiatives—Green Brigade, Science Café, MUN circuit and Interact Club—have notably won gold at the CBSE Nationals for Heritage Club actions in 2022. With 800+ day scholars from 24 Pune pin codes, the school workshops annual “Community Saturday” markets, scholarships for EWS children and onsite parenting labs.

Graduates have secured positions in COEP, Symbiosis, MIT Boston, and Ashoka.
