Founded in 1995 by Dr. Ramesh Narang and his wife Dr Neelam Narang, R N Hospital Pvt. Ltd. has grown from a 15-bed nursing home into one of Western Uttar Pradesh’s most trusted multi-specialty centres of excellence. Strategically located on the arterial GT Road in Meerut Cantt, the 210-bed tertiary-care facility stands on a two-and-a-half-acre campus that combines world-class technology with compassionate, patient-centric care. The hospital operates 24 × 7 and remains empanelled with CGHS, ECHS, all major state-government panels and more than 40 corporate / TPAs, ensuring seamless cashless services for both serving personnel and veterans.

Infrastructure and technology
Two fully automated modular OT complexes house seven laminar-flow theatres integrated with ceiling-mounted C-arms, 4K surgical microscopes, NAVIO robotic joint-replacement system and Zeiss ReLEx SMILE suite for blade-free refractive surgery. Intensive care is delivered through a 42-bed Level- III NABH-accredited structure that includes medical, surgical, neonatal, cardiac and transplant ICUs, each equipped with Hamilton G5 ventilators, ECMO, CRRT and high-frequency oscillators. Diagnostics is centred on a 128-slice CT, 1.5 T silent MRI and 3D/4D ultrasonography; nuclear medicine and Cath-Lab with FFR/iFR add precision to cardiology and oncology workflows. The emergency department has a dedicated 24-bay trauma resuscitation area and a rooftop helipad certified by DGCA for rapid aeromedical transfers.

Clinical breadth
More than 30 centres of excellence and super-specialties run six days per week, staffed by 110 full-time consultants (awarded DM /MCh / DNB / FRCS) and 275 resident doctors. Flagship programmes include the Comprehensive Heart Command Centre (performing over 1,800 interventions annually), Comprehensive Cancer Institute that delivers HIPEC and True-Beam VMAT therapy, Renal Sciences unit credited with 16,000+ haemodialysis sessions per year and a Centre for Advanced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine that has conducted over 3,500 successful joint replacements, many completed under the NAVIO robotic arm with rapid-recovery protocols. Obstetrics and neonatology record 2,200 safe deliveries each year and host the region’s only Level- III NICU led by NALS-certified neonatologists. A newly commissioned 12-bed bone-marrow & solid organ transplant unit offers autologous / allogeneic stem-cell, kidney and liver transplants under dedicated NABH protocols.

Quality and safety
R N Hospital became the first standalone institution in Uttar Pradesh to achieve NABH accreditation for both hospital (2012) and blood bank (2014). It is ISO 9001:2015 compliant, follows IPCS-certified infection-control practices and benchmarks with WHO patient-safety goals. Nursing excellence is delivered by 450 fully qualified staff nurses, 70% of whom hold an additional certification in Critical Care. A multi-disciplinary antimicrobial stewardship committee, in-house Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) and real-time HIC dashboard enable surveillance of all high-risk areas. Mortality and morbidity reviews as well as continuous medical education (averaging 150 man-hours per month) ensure evidence-based outcomes.

Community outreach and social commitment
Beyond its walls, the hospital runs a Community Health Van that screens nearly 25,000 rural residents annually for diabetes, hypertension and cancer. It partners with the district administration and Rotary to provide free surgeries through the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram and has adopted eight government schools for adolescent-health education. An on-site medical college – RN Institute of Medical Sciences – recognised by MCI, offers MBBS and postgraduate courses and integrates bedside teaching with societal responsibility, housing 130 medical students and 80 nursing scholars.

Vision for the future
A new 400-bed green-field wing with proton therapy, robotic cardiac surgery suite and an additional 200 apartments for attendants is underway for 2027.
