PrimaCare ClearMedi Multispeciality Hospital, located on a seven-acre campus in the heart of Vijayawada’s expanding Kanuru district, is a 220-bed tertiary-care landmark that opened its doors in June 2022. Built with Mediterranean-Hyderabad stone and floor-to-ceiling glass, the structure is designed to be both calming and future-scalable; two shell wings can be activated in phases to push capacity to 450 beds without interrupting current services. All patient zones are magnetically shielded and built on the 4-zone traffic principle—public, patient, staff and utility—so elevators, pneumatic chutes and AGVs (automated guided vehicles) never intersect.

Clinical depth is focused on cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, mother & child medicine, orthopaedics & sports surgery, gastro-science and transplantation. The cardiac institute runs a 24/7 STEMI-to-balloon programme averaging 18 minutes door-to-device; it houses two digitally integrated cath labs with rotational angiography and FFR-iFR fusion, a hybrid OT for TAVI and minimally invasive mitral valve surgery, and a 16-bed post-operative CTVS ICU managed by an ECMO team that recently achieved 96 % survival for acute myocarditis patients.

Oncology is anchored by a Varian Ethos adaptive radiotherapy bunker, a high-dose-rate brachytherapy suite and an on-site molecular pathology lab that returns NGS panels in 48 hours. The bone-marrow transplant unit consists of 18 HEPA-filtered rooms with positive pressure and sensor-controlled pass-throughs; autologous and haplo-identical programmes are active since January 2023.

A 14-bedded Level-III NICU, 20-bedded obstetric ICU and two water-birth suites constitute the maternal centre; the unit performs more than 300 deliveries a month, with a 9 % caesarean rate, among the lowest in coastal Andhra. Neuro-interventional services treat 5–7 acute stroke cases daily, supported by a biplanar Philips Azurion and a tele-stroke network that allows rural spokes to push CT angiograms directly into the radiologist’s PACS in under 6 minutes.

Orthopaedics runs a multidisciplinary sports clinic in partnership with BCCI-certified physiotherapists; arthroscopic ACL reconstructions using internal bracing, robotic-navigated uni-knee resurfacing and image-guided spine fixation are routine.

Post-acute care is addressed through a 30-bed rehabilitation wing with hydro-pool therapy and a robotic exoskeleton for spinal-cord injury patients.

Technology backbone is 100 % cloud-native: EMRs are integrated with bedside telemetry, ventilator data and pharmacy robots, feeding AI-driven early-warning dashboards. A 2,000-panel rooftop solar plant covers 65 % of energy demand; the campus is certified LEED Gold.

Pay-to-service ratios are balanced: 40 % beds are price-capped under Ayushman Bharat, yet plush suites, concierge desks and global cuisine keep medical-tourism footfall strong; international interpreters for Russian, Arabic and Malayalam are available 24/7.

PrimaCare ClearMedi is NABH-accredited and planning JCI evaluation in late 2025. Its DoctriCare CSR arm conducts monthly free surgical camps in Krishna and Guntur districts, averaging 1,800 rural beneficiaries per quarter.
