Prayag Hospital & Research Centre Private Limited – Greater Noida Branch is a 150-bed multispecialty tertiary-care facility strategically located in the heart of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Inaugurated in 2018 as the second unit of the Prayag Hospitals Group (licensed by the UP Pollution Control Board and registered under the Companies Act 2013), the campus sits on a three-acre green plot opposite the Buddha International Circuit in Knowledge Park-III Sector, barely 4 km from the Pari Chowk interchange and well-linked by the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and aqua metro line. The architecture blends civic-scaled glass façades with internal courtyards, enabling natural light to reach patient areas while maintaining strict infection-control zoning. The hospital has served more than 1.1 lakh out-patients and conducted 13,000 surgical procedures since inception.
Clinical portfolio
More than 25 disciplines operate under NABH-entry-level protocol. Centres of excellence cover cardiology, oncology, neurosciences, renal sciences, ortho-joint replacement, mother & child, and minimally invasive surgery. The emergency & trauma block is a 12-bedded resuscitation bay staffed by full-time emergency physicians, intensivists, and ATLS-certified nurses; the paramedic ambulance fleet (two ALS and one neonatal transport) guarantees average response time of 12 minutes within Greater Noida and Noida Extension. The cath-lab suite (Philips Azurion M20) performs up to 65 interventional cardiology procedures monthly, including primary PCI, electrophysiology, and structural heart interventions. An eight-bed dialysis unit (Fresenius 5008S) runs three shifts daily and operates a free-of-cost dialysis camp for EWS beneficiaries every Thursday under the UP Mukhya-mantri Jan Arogya Yojna. The oncology day-care wing houses a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator offering IMRT, IGRT, and Stereotactic radiosurgery; medical and haemato-oncology services run parallel, and the hospital is empaneled for CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and 42 insurance/TPA panels. Mother & child care includes a 10-bed Level-III NICU managed by NNF-accredited neonatologists and fetal-medicine specialists; the unit recently achieved 94 % survival in 750–1000 g birth-weight cohort. Orthopaedics has a computer-navigation knee-replacement theatre and sports-injury clinic; robotic-arm assisted partial knee resurfacing is scheduled to roll out in Q1-2025. Bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery units perform SILS cholecystectomy, SILS sleeve gastrectomy, and hernia mesh repairs.
Infrastructure & Technology
The radiology suite includes 1.5 Tesla MRI, 160-slice CT, digital mammography, 4-D ultrasound, and DEXA. All images are archived on an AI-enhanced PACS that auto-detects brain bleed and pneumothorax to triage emergency scans within 90 seconds. Twelve modular laminar-flow operating theatres carry real-time anaesthesia gas monitoring (AGSS-compliant) and ceiling-mounted 4K 3-D cameras for telementoring. The central sterile supply department (CSSD) deploys low-temperature hydrogen-peroxide plasma sterilizers to protect endoscopes. Laboratory services are accredited by NABL and handle 650 tests/day using full-automation track systems (Beckman Coulter DxC). A fully integrated HIS and EMR allows cashless e-approvals in under 15 minutes.
People & research
The hospital employs 210 full-time doctors (including 60 DM/MCh super-specialists), 400 nursing staff, and 190 paramedics; all clinicians undergo annual BLS/ACLS simulation drills in partnership with the Indian Resuscitation Council. The Prayag Clinical Research Unit (PCRU) conducts phase-II/III trials in oncology, cardiology, and nephrology and has enrolled over 340 patients in GCP-compliant studies to date. A 60-seat auditorium hosts monthly CME programs and public-health initiatives.
Community outreach
The hospital runs eight satellite OPD clinics within a 20 km radius, conducts mobile ECG and cancer-screening vans, and has distributed over 35,000 free health cards under its “Jeevan Sparsh” CSR drive. Digital OPD queues and WhatsApp-based report dispatch are presently servicing 700 patients daily in any operational hour.
With its blend of super-specialty capabilities, compassionate team, and deep commitment to affordability, Prayag Hospital Greater Noida continues to act as the medical backbone of the fast-growing Gautam Buddha Nagar region.
