Prakash Hospital is a multi-speciality tertiary-care facility located in Ghaziabad, National Capital Region, Delhi-NCR. Established in 1999 by Dr S. K. Gupta and a group of community–oriented entrepreneurs, the 200-bed institution was envisioned as an affordable yet world-class centre that would reverse the trend of residents travelling to Central Delhi for serious medical intervention. Over two decades it has grown into a 350-bed, NABH-accredited flagship of the Prakash Healthcare Group while keeping the original promise of transparent pricing and ethical practice.

Infrastructure & Specialties
The 14-storey structure houses eight ultra-clean modular operation theatres, four cardiac catheterisation labs, a level-III neonatal ICU, a 24-bed dialysis unit and one of the largest dedicated bone-marrow transplant units in the NCR. Clinical departments span cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, oncology (medical, surgical and radiation with Elekta Versa HD LINAC), neurology & neurosurgery, nephrology, urology, joint replacement & sports medicine, gastro-sciences and minimally invasive gynaecology. Robotic joint-replacement surgery using CORI system and robotic prostatectomy with Da Vinci Xi are recent additions; the hospital also offers a 50-bed physical rehabilitation & wellness centre for post-stroke and post-rehab needs.

Critical Care
Its 55-bed MICU/SICU/CICU complex is staffed 1:1 by critical-care specialists and is recognised as a regional referral hub for ECMO and ventricular-assist devices. Round-the-clock interventional radiology and intra-arterial thrombectomy service allow door-to-groin times of <36 minutes for acute stroke, consistently beating international benchmarks. Human Capital More than 130 full-time consultants—of whom over 40 hold DM/M.Ch super-specialty qualifications—work alongside 250 resident doctors, 500 nurses trained in ACLS/PALS and 350 paramedicals. Senior consultants undergo annual simulation training at Cleveland Clinic and Singapore General; nursing education is reinforced by an in-house INC-approved College of Nursing affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Accreditations & Outreach The hospital is empanelled with Ayushman Bharat, CGHS, ECHS and more than 150 corporate TPAs. Its Preventive Health Check-town programme touches 120 peripheral villages every quarter, supported by a 10-vehicle mobile clinic fleet and tele-ICU link to district hospitals. Financial-assistance cell disburses 1.8 crore rupees annually in charity care for below-poverty-line patients. CSR projects include weekly cleft-lip camps in collaboration with Smile Train and free chemotherapy cycles for paediatric oncology referrals from district hospitals across Western Uttar Pradesh. Recognition Prakash Hospital is consistently ranked among the ‘Top-5 Safest Hospitals-North India’ by National Patient Safety Database; the cardiothoracic team received the Times Healthcare Achievers Award 2023 for completing 1,000 beating-heart surgeries with 98.7 % survival.
