Established in 2014, this flagship branch of RSM sits exactly above Café Coffee Day on the upper ring-road of Pari Chowk—Delhi-NCR’s most recognizable landmark—making it the easiest‐to-reach saxophone school in the entire NCR belt. The glass-tower campus stands two minutes from the Aqua-Line metro, offers 24×7 basement parking for 150 cars, and a 3-tier security setup that also covers musical instruments. Three sound-treated teaching pods occupy the entire south side of the floor: each pod is isolated with 55 dB acoustic glass and is individually humidified so vintage wooden saxes never crack in Delhi’s dry winters.
Faculty & Curriculum
Head mentor Mr Robin Singh Dhillon himself holds a diploma from Berklee College of Music (2012) and currently tours as lead saxophonist for AR Rahman’s arena shows. He is present on site three evenings a week; the remaining sessions (Classical, Jazz, Blues, Hindustani Raga-Bop fusion, and EDM horn-lines) are taken by his senior associates—each trained abroad and double-certified on both saxophone pedagogy and DAW production. Students pick either the Modular Diploma (12 monthly levels) or the Weekend Pro-Dip (48 sessions). Every learner gets lifetime access to the academy cloud—WAV play-along packs, transcriptions in three clefs, and slow-downed practise loops.
Instruments & Technology
The Pari Chowk store-room stocks new Yamaha YAS-62III altos, Yanagisawa WO soprano & tenor pairs, and vintage Selmer Mark VI horns that the senior year rents for masterclasses. A Digital Wing holds six Roland-equipped practise booths running “SaxGym” software that scores your intonation in real time; results auto-email to your phone at the end of each whistle-riff test. On Tuesdays the main pod flips into a recording studio with a Neumann TLM-103 to cut high-resolution demo reels for advancing students.
Events & Outreach
The 360-seat Sun-Dome terrace (roof rights granted by tower management) hosts the monthly “Posa Nights” open-mic. Bollywood, funk and lo-fi acts from Delhi University battle guest alumni musicians, and the top qualifier wins a free Neotech neck strap and a private class with Robin Sir. During annual Noida Jazz Week the academy presents a sunset concert on Pari Chowk fountain square that draws roughly 4,000 spectators and is live-streamed to RSM’s Instagram and 9,400-member Telegram family.
Fees & Hours
Fee cycles: ₹3,990 per month (Individual 45-min) or ₹43,800 per year (with 10% loyalty rebate). Instruments can be rented at ₹500 per week. Academy opens 11 am-9 pm Monday-Saturday, 2 pm-7 pm Sunday. First trial lesson, equipment sizing, and café voucher (₹150) are free for new walk-ins—just tell the CCD cashier you are “Upstairs at Robin’s.”
