Mohan International School is a co–educational day-cum-boarding institution spread across a secure 8-acre green campus on the Sohna Road corridor of Gurugram, Haryana. Affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 531471) and operating under the guidance of the Mohan Education & Welfare Society, the school presently serves about 1,500 students from Nursery to Grade XII in an eco-friendly, low-rise complex. Its imposing red-brick architecture is designed to maximise natural light and ventilation; solar rooftop panels supply 65 % of the school’s daily electricity and its underground rain-water harvesting system can store 14 lakh litres annually—initiatives that earned it the Green School Award 2023 from the Centre for Science & Environment.
Academic breadth is uncompromising. While the CBSE programme forms the backbone, every learner from Grade VI onward also chooses between the external Cambridge English, French and Mandarin certifications, or the in-house Science, Commerce, Music and Fine-Arts academies. The “Mohan Inquiry Framework” patented in 2022 uses PBL (Project-Based Learning) threads so that lessons in, for example, Physics culminate in a Saturday hackathon where students present IoT prototypes to industry mentors. STEM priorities are met through a robotics arena (Arduino, VEX and Spike Prime kits), a tinkering lab certified by the Atal Innovation Mission, and a Bloomberg finance terminal for Senior Secondary learners. With an international footprint, Mohan International has annual exchange agreements with Changping Middle School Beijing, Gymnasium Schloss Overhagen Germany and High Tech High San Diego. In 2023–24 fourteen Grade XI students completed a 3-week micro-internship with Rémy Cointreau vineyards in Cognac, France. Student-run social enterprises—Vriksh, E-Cycle and Chhaya—channel service hours into sanitation drives in nearby villages and have already built 265 soak-pits in partnership with WHO India. Board exam results are consistently in the 95+ percentile; the 2024 cohort achieved an average of 94.2 % with 3 national CBSE toppers in Commerce and Humanities.
