Mamta Clinic, located a stone’s throw from the Gurudwara in the heart of Gaur City-II, Greater Noida West, is a 35-bed multi-specialty neighbourhood hospital designed to combine the warmth of home with the discipline of evidence-based medicine. Established in 2015 by Dr. Mamta Chawla, a physician with 25 years of post-MBBS & MD experience and training from Safdarjung Hospital, the clinic has grown from a single-room consultation chamber into a compact yet complete 24-hour healthcare hub trusted by nearly 50,000 residents of nearby high-rises and village clusters alike.
The ground-floor Out-patient Department offers morning and evening slots for General Medicine, Gynaecology (ante-natal, post-natal), Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Dermatology. Four procedure-ready consultation cabins, all wheelchair accessible, are served by a central RIS-PACS-enabled digital X-ray room, 4D colour-Doppler ultrasound and an in-house NABL-certified pathology lab that processes CBC, HbA1c, lipid profile, hormonal assays, Covid RT-PCR and 50-plus other tests within two hours. Adjacent is a 2-bedded minor OT where circumcision, incision-drainage, copper-T insertion, wound debridement and basic plastic-surgery closures are performed daily under short GA, monitored by a certified anaesthetist.
On the upper floor are 20 twin-sharing rooms, 10 private AC and 5 deluxe rooms with attendant beds, TV, Wi-Fi and piped oxygen. Labour Room No 3 is a dedicated two-bed LDR suite with fetal monitor, medical air, suction and radiant warmer, backed by a 12-bed Level I NICU for low-birth-weight and pre-term babies. Operation Theatre 1 is a laminar-flow theatre fitted with German-made LED shadowless lights, Boyle’s anaesthesia machine with sevoflurane and a C-Arm compatible orthopaedic table; OT 2, labelled “Mother & Child Theatre”, is reserved for LSCS, D&C and MTPs and prides itself on a zero-caesarean-infection record since 2017.
Critical care is anchored by a 6-bed ICU managed round-the-clock by duty and intensivist doctors, 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio and NABL-validated ventilators, defibrillators and cardiac monitors. A newly added 1.5 Tesla MRI and latest low-dose CT scan (inside the diagnostic annex) have cut referral travel time from weeks to hours. Emergency response is empowered by an ALS ambulance stationed at the gate, linked to a 24×7 clinical hotline (9644-000-222). Pharmacy, open 24 hours, stocks WHO-GMP generics and maintains cold-chain integrity for vaccines, including polio, influenza, typhoid and cervical-cancer (Gardasil-9).
Mamta Clinic is empaneled with the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ECHS and 45 private insurers. A single-window billing desk and paperless discharge (via e-mail/ WhatsApp) remove the usual queues. Community initiatives include free antenatal camps every Sunday, Thursday diabetic foot clinics, and monthly health-awareness sessions in the Gurudwara’s community hall. The hospital has adopted 3200 sq ft of rooftop solar panels that supply 60 % of its electricity demand, supporting its “Green Healthcare” pledge.
The staff speaks Hindi, English, Bhojpuri and Punjabi—testimony to the region’s linguistic diversity—and prides itself on “more conversation, less prescription”. First-time visitors often remark on the courtyard Rangoli and the air-conditioned water fountain near reception—small touches that say, “You are visiting a neighbour, not entering a machine.”
