Indus Valley Public School (IVPS) stands on a 12-acre green campus in Sector-62, Noida (Delhi NCR), approximately half a kilometre from the nearest metro station. Established in 2004 by the Indus Valley Education Society, it is a co-educational English-medium day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) up to the Senior Secondary level (Science, Commerce and Humanities streams).

Academically, the school follows a composite curriculum from Nursery to Class XII. The Early Years Programme (Nursery-KG) uses play-way, Montessori and Reggio Emilia methods in bright theme-based classrooms. Classes I-V follow NCERT text books strengthened by XSEED modules and weekly “learning-right” assessments instead of traditional unit tests. From Class VI, subjects are taught through interdisciplinary projects and the school’s own “Anveshak” research skills course. Senior Secondary students are mentored through CUET, JEE/NEET, CPT and NIFT preparatory tracks while completing CBSE coursework. Average class size is 30, and the teacher-student ratio is 1:14.

Infrastructure is consciously child-centred. Every classroom is air-conditioned, borne-on smartboards and high-speed internet. Well-equipped laboratories include composite Science labs for Primary, separate departmental labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, two ATL (NITI Aayog) Maker Spaces, a Design Thinking Studio, and a language-lab that facilitates English, French, German and Sanskrit pronunciation. The 18,000-titles library offers a Kindle zone, teacher-authors’ corner and 24×7 digital catalogue. STEM programmes are supported by 50 Chrome-books, 3D printers and a robotics arena tied to IIT-Delhi. The 42,000 sq ft sports curtilage houses an Olympic-size 8-lane swimming pool with touch-pad timing, two synthetic lawn-tennis courts laid by the ITF, a half-Olympic-turf hockey field, cricket nets with bowling machines, indoor shooting range (10 m), basketball (NBA-marked) and volleyball courts and a 200 mathletics track. Yoga, chess and Mallakhamb Gurus provide personal fitness modules.

Performing arts facilities include a 450-seater amphitheatre, Kathak and Bharatnatyam studios, Western music and Hindustani classical rooms with Steinway grand and electric-drum kits, a 32-track recording studio and an annual “I-Rhapsody” student production. Visual Arts features sculpture, ceramics and textile rooms besides digital design labs. The school is a British Council ISA recipient, runs year-long exchange programmes with schools in Germany and Japan, and offers Model UN delegations, TED-Ed, TCS “Code-Vita” and Cambridge English Assessments.

Pastoral care is robust: a full-time school psychologist, peer-counselling “Wellness Warriors” and monthly parent-circle meets. Safe commuting is ensured through 35 GPS-enabled buses with live CCTV feed for parents. Recognised as ‘Future 50 Schools- Shaping Success’ by Fortune India, IVPS secured a 100 % CBSE pass rate in 2023 (Class XII average 92.8 %).
