IEC College of Engineering & Technology (IEC-CET) is a self-financed institution promoted by the IEC Group of Institutions and is located at Plot No. 95-109, Knowledge Park-II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 2008 by the respected educationist Dr. Vinod Gupta, the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. The campus sits on about 5.5 acres in the dynamically expanding knowledge hub of Greater Noida, sharing the same gated complex with other IEC institutes which cumulatively cover over 15 acres and house more than 35,000 students and faculty across varied disciplines.

IEC-CET offers a compact yet up-to-date set of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes: Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (specialisation in Data Science), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Total sanctioned intake stands at 300 students, 60 seats per discipline except CSE-Data Science (120 seats). Intelligent and easy embedded pathways allow students to transition laterally into specialisations or exit after four years with a recognised AKTU degree. New-age skilling is promoted through mandatory MOOC certification, electives in IoT, blockchain and Python, flexible curricula aligned with NEP-2020 expectations, and internship programmes with start-ups housed within the adjacent Institute of Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (IIIE) facility.

Learning infrastructure encompasses six fully air-conditioned academic blocks containing 36 tutorial rooms, 36 ICT-enabled lecture theatres, eight seminar halls, and 17 departmental laboratories—all powered by 310 Mbps leased-line internet and Delhi Noida Direct metro Wi-Fi. The Central Library (three floors) stocks 40,000 printed books, subscribes to e-resources such as IEEE Xplore, ACM and DELNET, and maintains a reading zone operational 12 hours a day. The institute has on-campus hostel blocks for 600 boys and 240 girls with 24×7 wardens, fibre-based internet and solar water-heating systems. A 36-bed infirmary, ambulance and tie-ups with Yatharth hospitals (2.5 km away) provide primary medical back-up. Sports facilities include an 18-room gym, indoor badminton and table-tennis courts, and a multipurpose ground for football and cricket; intra-college leagues in e-sports and robotics are streamed-live on the campus television channel IEC-TV.

Training & Placement activities are coordinated by a 15-member corporate-relations cell. The current year witnessed 135 offers from companies such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Sopra Steria, BYJU’S, Capgemini, Jaro Education and Piaggio, along with 12 core-MSc dual-degree collaborations. Average domestic package in 2023 touched INR 4.2 LPA, with the highest at INR 10.5 LPA. IEC-CET is ISO 9001-2015 certified and was graded ‘B’ by NAAC in 2022. The institute hosts a vibrant calendar of two techno-cultural festivals— EXUBERANT (March) and AAKRUTI (October)—a national hackathon series ‘IEC-HACK’, and numerous social-impact drives under the IEC-NSS chapter that together mould confident, industry-ready technocrats able to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0.
