Delhi World Public School (DWPS) is a rapidly growing chain of K-12 institutions that embodies the vision of the Delhi World Foundation, an initiative launched by the alumni of Delhi Public School Society and eminent dignitaries such as former Chief Justice of India Shri Ram Jethmalani and educationist Dr. Jitendra Nagpal. Since its inception in 2015, DWPS has expanded to over 200 campuses across India and the Middle East, combining traditional values with 21st-century pedagogical practices to nurture “global citizens with Indian ethos.”
Academically, DWPS is aligned to curricula drawn from both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Cambridge and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Early-year classrooms follow an inquiry- and play-based model inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia; Middle School integrates experiential STEM modules designed in association with Microsoft Showcase School and Atal Tinkering Labs; Senior Secondary offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams with SAT/AP preparatory tracks for students aspiring to study abroad. Every DWPS campus maintains a strict teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20; faculty members are recruited through national selection drives held six times a year, undergo 80 hours of continuing professional development at partner universities such as IIT Patna and National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), and are certified in ICT integration, inclusive education and clinical counseling.
Infrastructure follows a four-tier model: Learning, Discovery, Wellness and Community. Learning spaces include digital classrooms with 75-inch interactive panels and AI-driven personalized assessment tools; a Math & Language Lab accredited by the British Council. Discovery facilities comprise over 30 specialized laboratories—robotics with LEGO Mindstorms EV3, biotechnology, forensic science and astronomy observatories equipped with 8-inch Celestron telescopes. Wellness is addressed through an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 m), FIFA-standard Astro-Turf football field, two indoor multi-sport auditoria with 800-seat capacity and a mindfulness center commanded by a certified occupational therapist. Community engagement is centered on the ‘One Child One Cause’ programme, which links every learner to NGOs working in sanitation, rural electrification or animal rescue.
Beyond academics, DWPS operates 15 academies of excellence in taekwondo, bharatanatyam, film-making and drone piloting. Each student chooses one signature area (Varsity Sport or Creative & Performing Art) from Grade IV onwards and receives certified coaching; the school has produced 17 national-level archers and 24 certified Bharatnatyam Arangetrams in the past five years. An annual life-skills curriculum certifies learners in financial literacy, disaster response (Red Cross First-Aid) and cyber ethics; 86% of Grade IX students presently hold the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Basic Investment Certification. Capstones include Model United Nations, where DWPS regularly wins the Best Delegation accolades at Harvard MUN India and NAIMUN, and a Maker Fest that showcases 200+ student start-ups incubated within campus.
Dwps also prides itself on inclusive education practices, admitting learners with special educational needs through its Special Resource Cells, supported by on-site speech therapists and psychologists. Annual fee ranges between INR 1.8 lakh and 2.4 lakh, inclusive of the Global Exposure Programme that affords students exchange trips to partner schools in Singapore, Australia or Sweden, further reinforcing the dream of “My Child, My World.”
