Delhi Public School, Greater Budh Nagar (DPS-GBN), Sector-132, Noida–201301, is the flagship institution of the DPS Society that came up when the parent body recognised Noida’s exponential growth in the late-2000s. The 6-acre, smart-enabled campus—40 metres wide and 1 km long—has been engineered to LEED-equivalent sustainability norms, receiving the 2021 IGBC Gold certification. Nearly 57 % of the site is open space; classrooms are naturally lit, cross-ventilated and front AI-enabled E-Boards. A doubling of student strength to 5,300 (as of 2024) from its 2012 base is testimony to its modern vision triangulating academic rigour, liberal arts and high-performance sport.
Academically, the school is affiliated to CBSE (Aff. No. 2131781) and uses the formative-to-profile model mapped to the National Education Policy 2020. Classes move on integrated CBSE-IB themes in the Foundational stage, then scale up to CBSE-CS4 Curriculum in Grade 9 with an optional dual-credit tie-up with the University of Stirling (U.K.) that lets Senior-Secondary students earn MOOC credits in Critical Thinking & Global Perspectives. The average class is capped at 28; each section has a counsellor-on-round so that every learner is on an Individualised Improvement Plan (IIP). The 2023 Grade-XII average is 92.1 % with 13 students in the 99 %ile.
Facilities read like a catalogue of Ivy-League aspirations. The three-level Innovation Hub (2022) hosts Atal Tinkering Lab, a 12-bay 3-D printing studio with Ultimaker S5 printers, MIT-scaled robotics arena and a Bloomberg Financial Olympiad room. The 2,600 sq m A/V auditorium seats 800 and hosts THIMUN-affiliated Model UNs quarterly. Two 35 m-x-21 m FIBA-standard indoor arenas cater to basketball and three FIVB-certified volleyball courts; a FIFA-level turf, 25-mx-8-lane semi-Olympic pool and rooftop 60-m parallel hurdles track are built for the Delhi State Yoga Trials, an event the school won in 2023 and 2024. Running water aqua-purifiers and an Infirmary with 8 beds and a resident paediatrician are available 24×7.
Pastoral care and co-curricular life are equally intense. The school runs 72 clubs—including astronomy, jazz, drone-racing and book-binding—and has 21 inter-school awards across TedXYouth (2020), COFAS (2021), IIT Delhi’s QuarkModel. Its Servant Leadership Council has built 14 “Green-School” villages under the PM-Gati Shakti Mission. The international exchange calendar lists short courses to University of Auckland and Habitat for Humanity builds in Vietnam.
Faculty strength stands at 275, 78 % directly recruited from IITs, TISS and University of Warwick; they log 40 hours of CPD annually. Annual scholarships—Academic (up to 80 % fee waiver), Sports (up to 100 % for national level achievers) and Digital Equity—put more than 200 students in full aid.
Transport covers a 25-km radius with RFID-geofenced buses having real-time parent notification. Progress reports, homework and cafeteria menu are accessible via the customised DPS-GBN App. Fee structure for 2024-25 ranges from ₹1.54 lakh to ₹2.23 lakh annually, payable in three instalments.
All this makes DPS-GBN not merely a school but a launchpad where academic excellence, innovation and global perspectives coalesce in Sector-132, Noida.
