Centrum Hospital is a 380-bed, multispecialty, JCI-accredited tertiary-care facility located in the geographic heart of Metropole City, two blocks from Central Station and within walking distance of the financial and diplomatic quarters. Founded in 1998 by a consortium of physicians and civic benefactors, it has grown from a single outpatient center into an integrated academic–community referral complex that now treats more than 600,000 patient interactions each year across twenty-five clinical disciplines.
The hospital’s physical plant is composed of an art-gallery-designed main tower (opened 2018), a maternity pavilion retained from the original 1942 building but completely refitted in 2020, and the adjoining Centrum Research & Education Block.
