Cambridge School Noida is an English-medium, co-educational senior-secondary institution founded in 1931 by the Society for the Advancement of Education (SAE). Nestled on a 10-acre, tree-lined campus off W block in Sector 27, the school is a pioneer for progressive, child-centred education in the National Capital Region and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. From Nursery to Class XII, it provides a rigorous academic curriculum enriched by a robust JEE/NEET preparatory track alongside liberal-arts electives. The school is also a certified British Council International School Award recipient and an active member of the National Progressive Schools’ Conference (NPSC), ideals that are woven into every aspect of campus life.
Faculty strength exceeds 160 fully trained teachers, many of whom are CBSE master trainers and resource persons for IIT and NCERT workshops. The average class size remains capped at 32–35 students, enabling close mentoring. In Board assessments, Cambridge consistently produces a 100 % first-division record and near-perfect Grade XII averages; in 2024, the Science stream topper scored 99.4 % and the Humanities topper 98.6 %, while 43 students secured 95 % or higher. The school’s Re-Imagine Lab supports multi-disciplinary research, giving rise to national-level winning projects on sustainable groundwater harvesting and AI-assisted early cancer detection.
On the co-curricular front, students choose from over 55 offerings, including radio jockeying, robotics, Kathak, Western vocals, design thinking called D-Lab, and the Model United Nations society. Sports infrastructure is equally comprehensive: a 400 m eight-lane synthetic track, two FIFA-spec football grounds, an Olympic-length swimming pool, six volleyball courts, a triple-wood-surface indoor multipurpose hall and a modern gym. Hockey and basketball teams have been district champions for three consecutive years, and the swim squad produced seven CBSE nationals medallists in 2024. Cambridge also runs a high-altitude leadership camp in the Garhwal Himalayas and student exchanges with partner schools in Germany and Singapore.
The pastoral-care ethos is anchored in the Joy of Learning Programme (JOLP) overseen by trained counsellors and peer mentors. A full-time wellness team runs social-emotional learning classes, mindfulness circles and an anonymous help-line called Speak-EZ. Environment sustainability is practised through a 100 % solar-powered rooftop, paperless ERP, composting pits and an organic farm where every junior school child tends a patch from seed to harvest.
Admission is competitive; notification appears each September on the website. For Nursery the draw of lots is conducted after registration; Class XI allocation requires Class X results followed by individual counselling sessions on subject combinations. Fee in 2024–25 ranges ₹7.2–7.8 lakh annually, inclusive of meals, transport, labs, and most co-curricular expenses, with merit-cum-means scholarships and sibling concessions. Cambridge alumni network extends from IIT, Harvard and St. Stephen’s to NIFT, FTII and the Indian Armed Forces, rendering the school one of Noida’s brightest intellectual and social crucibles.
