Cambridge School, Greater Noida, is a co-educational, English-medium, day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Established in 2003 by the Society for the Advancement of Education (SAE), the institution carries forward the 88-year legacy of the Cambridge School family that began at Daryaganj in 1931. Spread over a 10.5-acre green campus in Sector-27, the school is 3 km from Pari Chowk and enjoys seamless road links with Delhi, Noida Expressway and the Yamuna Expressway.
Infrastructure is laid out in three distinct but connected zones—academic, co-curricular and sports. The academic spine houses airy classrooms equipped with smart boards and ergonomically designed furniture; junior block rooms are extended with learning corners for guided play. Wi-fi enabled laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, general science, mathematics and for junior-level design work are complimented by two IT labs updated to i5 processors and a coding studio. The library is a 5000 sq ft, two–storeyed Learning Resource Centre with 20,000 volumes, a junior picture–book enclave, periodical alcoves and a digital zone stocked with e-journals and Kindles. Performing and visual arts flourish in sound-proof music studios, a 6-lane instrumental room, a 200-seat amphitheatre, a sculptor’s corner, a ceramic wheel and an AV-enabled 400-seat auditorium.
Sports infrastructure is of international scale. A 400-metre synthetic athletic track frames a football field that doubles as a cricket pitch. Two flood-lit basketball courts, two volleyball courts, splash pools for toddlers and a 25-metre half-Olympic temperature-controlled swimming pool with spectator gallery maximise all-season use. NCC, Cubs-Bulbuls and specialised coaching from Dronacharya awardees contribute to 90-plus zonal and national medals in the past five years.
Academic philosophy rests on “Learning for Life”. The curriculum follows CBSE’s CCE pattern until Grade X and offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams in Grades XI-XII. Gifted Education, Remedial Clinics and peer-tutoring operate within school hours. Cambridge is a certified FIT INDIA and British Council ISA school, runs Atal Tinkering Lab projects, SUPW and outbound trips. Life-skills and SEWA are interwoven with Mindfulness, Adolescent Education and Career Guidance beginning Grade VIII. Inter-disciplinary STEAM exhibitions, Model United Nations, a TED-Ed club and entrepreneurship cell ensure deeper learning.
Teacher-student ratio is 1:20. All 125 faculty members undergo 40 hours of annual FACE (Faculty Advancement and Continuing Education) modules in collaboration with CBSE COE, IIM-A and British Council. Continuous Professional Development is tracked via a 360-degree appraisal platform.
Pastoral care is delivered through four Houses and a Pyramid Mentoring System where Principal, counsellors and form teachers stay aligned in observation, early identification and individual growth plans. Café Rosette, managed by a qualified dietitian, serves an all-day vegetarian menu meeting WHO nutrient norms. Safe GPS-enabled buses ply an 18-route network with female attendants, CCTV and a comprehensive parent app for real-time updates.
Annual fees are approx. ₹2,70,000 inclusive of books, meals and day-care. Alumni are presently enrolled in IITs, NLUs, SRCC, AIIMS and such foreign universities as Imperial College and NUS, reflecting the school’s motto “We Learn to Serve”.
