Aster Public School, Greater Noida (West), Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2002 under the aegis of the Aster Educational and Welfare Society. The school is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi NCT, and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, up to the Senior-Secondary level with affiliation number 2131271. Spread across a five-acre campus, it offers continuous education from Nursery to Class XII in an English-medium, co-educational environment that stitches together rigorous academics, evolving technology and a distinctly Indian value system.
The academic architecture is designed to suit every stage of a child’s growth. The pre-primary wing follows an activity and theme-based curriculum centred on experiential learning. From the Primary level onwards, NCERT guidelines shape the syllabus that is delivered through “smart” classrooms, science and maths laboratories, two computer labs with 120 latest desktops and an Atal Tinkering Lab. Regular STEM clubs, robotics, weekly Olympiads, ASL, SUPW and subject-specific projects ensure that theory and practice move hand-in-hand. At the Senior-Secondary stage (Classes XI–XII) the school offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams; previous years’ board aggregates have averaged 92 %. Career-counselling sessions with representatives from 100+ Indian and foreign universities and preparatory classes for JEE, NEET, CUET and CA are standard every year.
Pastoral care and inclusion are not afterthoughts. Trained counsellors, one per 200 students, conduct life-skills modules, aptitude mapping and parent counselling. The dedicated Learning-Enrichment Centre supports children with identified special needs through shadow teachers and IEPs. Health bays with full-time nurses and medical insurance cover every learner.
Beyond the classroom, 45 clubs and societies operate every week. Performing arts flourish in the 150-seat amphitheatre, two dance studios and a music block stocked with 30 western and Indian instruments. A 25-metre half-Olympic swimming pool, FIFA-spec futsal field, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a 400-metre athletics track, cricket nets and yoga pavilion make up the sports infrastructure. Annual inter-branch ASTEROID fest, Model United Nations conference, youth parliament and educational trips to NASA, Singapore and the Himalayan ecosystem have become calendar fixtures. Students regularly claim district and state podium finishes in skating, chess and taekwondo.
Community engagement is rooted in five student-run clubs—Aster Roti Bank, Green Guardians, Tech-Saathi, Gram-Uday and Aster Public Library chain which has seeded 12 rural reading rooms to date.
The faculty strength is 180 (Teacher-student ratio 1:18) and every teacher undergoes 60 hours of in-service training yearly under tie-ups with CBSE, British Council and Cambridge. A bi-annual international exchange takes teachers to partner schools in Finland and Israel, while Indian participants from Aster mentor counterpart teachers abroad.
Fee structure is mid-segment: ₹75,000 – 90,000 per annum (transport and meals extra). Need-based scholarships and a staff-children fee-waiver keep the school socio-economically diverse.
