Amity International School, Sector-44, Noida (for girls up to Class XII and co-ed up to Class V), is the flagship day-school of the Amity Universe, spread across a lush 15-acre campus adjoining the city-centre golf links. Established in 1991 under the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, it has consistently figured in the top-ten day-schools of India (Education World survey 2023). Its Early Years block is an airy Reggio-Emilia-inspired space for 650 tiny learners; the Middle and Senior blocks can accommodate 3,000 students, presently enrolling 2,400 drawn from Delhi-NCR and nineteen other states.

The built-up area is eight lakh square feet dominated by the iconic Amity dome auditorium (1,000 seats), Olympic-size NISE synthetic athletics tracks, and two FIFA-approved football fields. Indoors, every student enjoys a 1:9 computer ratio, three Apple iMac labs, robotics arena, 3-D printing studio and Tinkering Lab supported by Atal Innovation Mission. Adjoining the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) mainstream curriculum sits the Amity Global Gateway (virtual exchange portal with 82 partner schools on five continents); customised SAT/ACT and Cambridge English classes start from Grade VIII. ACE (Amity Centre for Excellence) mentors students aiming for IIT, NEET, CLAT and NID.

Innovative pedagogies are integral: each classroom (K-XII) is a 75-inch smart-board enabled “thinking studio”; Grades I-V follow the “Amitech©” curriculum where Science, Coding and Design Thinking are taught as a single module for 40 % of the week. Senior students choose from 25 CBSE electives—AI, Legal Studies, Fashion Studies, Entrepreneurship—taught in association with Amity University labs. The school fields six specialised Research Mentorship Programmes in genomics, astrophysics and social innovation, often mentored by PhD scholars from Amity University. Leadership is fostered through Model UN, AISMUN (hosted at AIS-44 annually), TED-Ed, and the Ami-do Ami-give social-impact cycle that has funded 42 rural learning centres.

Co-curricular life revolves around the five ‘A’s—Art, Aesthetic, Athletic, Adventure and Academics. Seventeen academies run on campus, ranging from horse-riding with Olympic coach Col. (retd.) R. S. Ahluwalia to squash at the J. Hanspal courts. The Amity Symphony Orchestra, with a 450-member student ensemble, performs at the annual School Day graced by the President of India. A climate-positive initiative has made the campus 124 % solar-powered, organic-waste composting and an on-campus hydroponic farm producing three tonnes of greens annually for the mess, one of only five schools in India to receive the UN ‘Green School Platinum’ rating.

Student well-being is stewarded by a 16-member multidisciplinary counselling team, 1:300 ratio certified in adolescent psychology; the school’s ‘Saarthi’ app provides anonymous chat and SOS buttons. The Amity-to-Community scholarship awards 100 full-freeships and 250 part-freeships every year. Board-results have averaged 97.4 % aggregate (Class X) and 95.7 % (Class XII science) over five years while destinations include Ivy League, IITs, NIFT and National Law Schools.
