Alard Public School in Hinjawadi, Pune, is a co-educational, English-medium institution established in 2005 under the aegis of the Alard Charitable Trust. Strategically located within the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, the school caters to the children of more than 400 working families in India’s fastest-growing IT corridor while simultaneously opening its doors to families from the nearby residential townships and villages of Maan, Marunji and Wakad. The purpose-built campus of 3.2 acres houses an academic block, sports complex and kindergarten dome arranged around a traffic-free central quadrangle shaded by rain trees.

Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education up to the Senior-Secondary level, the school follows the NCERT curriculum blended with theme-based experiential modules designed by its “Alard Edge” research cell. Early-years sections work with the proprietary Craft-I-Kinetic programme that integrates Montessori, Gardner and Piagetian principles, while middle school sees the formal introduction of design thinking and financial literacy through market-simulation labs. Classes XI–XII offer Science (PCM/PCB) and Commerce streams under skill-subject options such as Data Science and Business Analytics. Every section maintains at most 24 students; national-level standardised diagnostics run by Educational Initiatives and Cambridge English assessments track learning gains twice yearly.

Infrastructure matches global benchmarks. Seventy-four smart classrooms are equipped with 4K interactive panels, personal reading corners and tactile STEAM toolkits. Air-conditioned science labs—composite, physics, chemistry and biology—boast international-grade safety showers, fume hoods and flexible power tracks. A 120-seat Junior Discovery Lab and a 160-seat Atal Tinkering Lab house 3-D printers, CNC routers and rack-mounted servers so that students can prototype from Class IV onward. The 14,000-volume Learning Commons is linked to the British Council Digital Library. Sports facilities include an all-weather turf cricket ground, a FIFA-standard artificial football pitch, a half-Olympic swimming pool, indoor badminton and basketball courts, a 12-station gym and a 400-metre athletic track. Performing-arts zones incorporate two music studios with Steinway uprights, individual drum booths, an 800-seat auditorium with Meyer sound, a black-box theatre and a 10-metre pottery kiln.

Student life is enriched by more than thirty clubs such as Astronomy, Robotics, French, Model United Nations and e-Sports. A residential week-long “Alard Wilderness” programme in the Sahyadri ranges is compulsory for Grade VI, VII and IX. The school is a plastic-negative campus and runs a 20 kW rooftop solar plant feeding 70 % of daily usage. Round-the-clock CCTV, 25 female guards and RFID student tags implement child-safety protocols.

Over the last three CBSE cohorts, the mean score has risen from 86.2 % to 90.7 %, and every student has cleared JEE-Mains or CUET. Twelve have received full-tuition scholarships to Ashoka, MIT-WPU and Krea Universities; two national chess medalists and one junior swimming champion train onsite.
