Aavaam Hospital stands on a two-acre campus in Gurugram’s Sector-43, 12 km from the international airport and well-served by the Rapid Metro. Established in 2019 by the Aavaam Healthcare Trust, a not-for-profit organisation seeded by alumni of AIIMS Delhi and IIT Delhi, it was conceived as “a neighbourhood hospital with the depth of a tertiary centre.”
The 180-bed facility is built around six modular operating theatres (two robotic-supported Da Vinci Xi consoles), a 30-bedded Level-III NICU, and the city’s first hospital-based cyclotron-integrated PET-MR. Sixty-five percent of beds are in single-occupancy, naturally ventilated rooms designed according to Ministry of Health green-hospital norms—solar panels on the roof meet 35 % of daytime electricity needs, and grey-water recycling irrigates the 2,500 sq ft rooftop medicinal garden.
Clinical programmes are anchored by five centres of excellence
1. Aavaam Heart & Vascular Institute (world-record 16-minute door-to-balloon time, 24/7 interventional cardiology).
2. Krsna Centre for Digestive Sciences (single-incision SILS bariatrics, AI-enhanced colonoscopy, trans-gastric NOTES).
3. Mother-and-Child Hub (ante-natal yoga deck, water-birth pool, and a 1:1 nurse ratio in NICU).
4. Centre for Movement Disorders & Stroke (3T intra-operative imaging, focused ultrasound for essential tremor).
5. Integrated Musculoskeletal Medicine (sports science lab, 3-D printed custom implants, and on-field physiotherapy for Delhi Capitals IPL team).
The diagnostic backbone—NABL-accredited labs and a central sample transport pneumatic tube—ensures 95 % of routine reports within 90 minutes. Emergency services run through a 20-bed triage bay mapped directly to the National Emergency Registry, air-ambulance helipad, and rapid-response pediatric shock team.
Medical education thrives through the Aavaam Academy that runs DNB seats in cardiology and neonatology and weekly CMEs simulcast on an AR app. Its cloud-based tele-ICU network links Mandi, Guwahati, and Coimbatore district hospitals, providing e-rounds twice daily without charge.
Patients interact with the hospital through a multilingual app that handles appointment, counselling videos, and post-discharge trackers. Medicines are delivered by an in-house e-pharmacy promising 30-minute fulfilment within a 5 km radius. The Aavaam Foundation offers full subsidised care for residents of Gurugram’s five adjoining villages—accounting for 7 % of annual admissions—and hosts quarterly free dialysis days, fitting up to 120 patients each.
Accreditations include NABH (full), JCI, and Green OT certification. In the 2023 Patient-Safety Index published by Leapfrog, it scored 94/100.
