MANAS Superspeciality Hospital (MASSH) stands on a six-acre campus in the diplomatic heart of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, within walking distance of the Prime Minister’s residence and the diplomatic enclave. The 430-bed tertiary-care facility was commissioned in 2019 by the Arun & Nidhi Gupta Foundation and is today recognised as a centre of excellence for oncology, cardiac sciences, and robotic surgery in North India.

Architecture & Infrastructure
Designed by Singapore-based architects RSP, the 16-storey building incorporates biophilic elements—courtyards, skylights, and an internal bamboo atrium—to mitigate Delhi’s heat and reduce stress for patients and staff. All floors are served by 14 silent elevators, four pneumatic-chute-based medicine-transport systems, and a central medical-gas plant whose redundancy factor meets the European Norm EN ISO 7396-1. A 3,000-kW rooftop solar array supplies 38 % of daytime power demand, while a 120-bed brown-water recycling unit keeps the building largely off the municipal grid for non-potable water. Public areas are fitted with HEPA and activated-carbon filters capable of PM 2.5 reduction levels below the WHO indoor-air guideline.

Clinical Units
• Oncology: MASSH is the first private centre in India to offer MR-Linac adaptive radiotherapy and houses a Level-III sarcoma program headed by surgical oncologist Dr. Vinod Raina. The bone-marrow-transplant floor contains 12 BMT suites under positive-pressure laminar flow with in-situ isolette incubators for paediatric patients.
• Cardiac Sciences: Five digital cath labs—including two for paediatrics—allow hybrid procedures. A 35-member ECMO team is on 24 × 7 standby; the hospital logs 1,100 primary-PCI cases a year with a 92 % door-to-balloon time of < 60 minutes. • Robotics & Minimally Invasive Surgery: MASSH operates a dual-console da Vinci Xi system, an Artis Pheno robotic C-arm, and the Indian Institute of Robotics’ latest flexible endoscope for NOTES (natural-orifice-translumenal endoscopic surgery). Surgeons across urology, gynaecology-oncology and thoracic surgery have collectively performed 2,300 robotic procedures with reported median LOS of 2.8 days for radical prostatectomy. • Transplantation: Recognised as a Delhi-authorised organ-retrieval centre, MASSH has completed 167 liver, 91 kidney-pancreas and 46 paediatric heart transplants since 2021. An indoor helipad (300-m runway) feeds directly into the transplant ICU. • Maternal-Foetal Medicine: The fetal-therapy unit offers fetoscopic laser ablation for twin-to-twin transfusion, esophageal atresia repair, and EXIT procedures with on-site cardiac bypass. Ancillary Services - Lifeline Air & Ground Ambulance, featuring two twin-engine King Air B200 aircraft certified for Level-III neonatal transfers. - MyCare Companion app, which transmits real-time vitals from wearable hospital bands to clinicians’ tablets. - A 36-seat meditation & interfaith prayer room designed by a Buddhist monk to serve the cosmopolitan patient base that includes 23 % foreigners. Accreditation & Pricing Transparency MASSH holds JCI (July 2022), NABH, and Green OT certifications. Transplant software is linked to the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO). The hospital pioneered “Swipe-to-See” pricing—every outpatient invoice displays a QR code leading to the exact cost before the consultation.
