ORCHIDS The International School – Seawoods (CBSE)
Location & Campus
Perched on a tree-lined lane in Sector-42, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, the five-storey campus is a three-minute walk from Seawoods Grand Central mall and a five-minute drive from the Seawoods–Darave railway station. Built on just under one acre, the structure wraps around two open-to-sky courtyards that guarantee daylight in every classroom. A basement car park for 120 vehicles keeps drop-off and pick-up out of monsoon drizzle while two lifts, two ramps and sensor-friendly doorways ensure barrier-free mobility.
Academics – CBSE with ORCHIDS DNA
The school is affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 1130742) up to Grade XII and follows the national curriculum enriched by ORCHIDS’ proprietary SHARPER design—Science, Humanities, Arts, Research, Physical education, Emotional intelligence, and Responsibility—delivered through project-based, blended-learning modules. From nursery onward, learners engage with Stanford-designed ‘Design Thinking’ studios and a wide liberal-arts programme fed by the Performing-Arts-Room and Ninja Lab (robotics, 3-D printing, laser-cutting). The school hosts SAT-Prep and JEE/NEET coaching in later grades within the timetable, but emphasises wellness through daily 40-minute sports/PE slots. Prestigious results: the science stream has produced three 99-percentilers in the 2024 boards, and an average school AISSE score of 88.3 against a Maharashtra average of 84.9.
