Tucked away in the residential heart of Noida–Sector 76, Swaranjali Sangeet Classes occupies the entire third floor of the aptly named Harmony Tower in Assotech Spectrum society. A painted tabla-shaped signboard marks the landing; lift doors slide open to reveal sound-proofed glass panels etched with swar-rekhas that double as humming conductors. Inside, 1,900 sq ft are divided into three acoustically treated chambers: the large Gandhar Studio (for group sessions), a middle octave chamber for duet practice, and the solo Riyaz Booth, padded to the ceiling for zero-bounce recording. Maple-wood flooring is fitted beneath to transmit sympathetic vibration, while overhead LED panels cycle through 12 microtonal colours synced to tonic apps on each tablet stand. Sparingly placed mandap drapes lend classical gravitas without clutter.

The teaching sequence is uniquely layered. Weekdays open with Hindustani vocal from 7-11 a.m., moving from basic paltas to raag vistaar under founder Guru Anandita Banerjee; student spotlights are recorded, uploaded to an intra-community classroom the same evening. Afternoon sessions turn to Western piano and musicianship (ABRSM-aligned) run jointly by teacher partners Jonah Thomas and Riti Shah, who alternate theory and ear-training labs. Evenings are reserved for instrument specialities—sitar, violin and harmonium—and a rotating percussion circle where three tablas, one djembe and an electronic mridangam sit on pressure-responsive rugs, feeding a loop pedal for layered rhythmic creation. Saturdays host the Swar-Sangam open mic where current learners invite their parents and friends for 12-minute slots judged live by an external maestro via Zoom; recordings are archived on Swaranjali’s YouTube @swaranjaliclasses with parental consent.

Fees are highly modular. Entry-level batches (8–9 youths) cost ₹2,700 per month for two classes weekly; the semi-pro Ready-to-Stage tier is ₹4,200 and bundles quarterly Razorpay-recorded assessments along with participation in local cultural melas. Besides, any learner may rent the booth at ₹300 per hour for YouTube covers or radio auditions; a 2nd-gen Scarlett interface and matched Rode NT1s dwindle that figure to ₹240 for monthly subscribers. Members also receive a QR badge that unlocks community rooms on Guilded for mid-week fingering drills and metronome challenges. Annual devotees earn the Swaranjali Ascender certificate co-signed by Banerjee and the evening maestro, valid for extra credits in Delhi University’s elective ladder.
