In Greater Noida, a 60-metre-wide peripheral road will be built to connect the upcoming Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH). The road will meet the existing 105-metre-wide main carriageway near Junpat village, allowing direct travel from Pari Chowk to the hub using the 105-metre highway.

The Greater Noida Authority is executing the peripheral road in two sections. Construction of the first stretch—about 1.5 km from near Junpat police outpost to Thapkhaira roundabout—will start in September at an estimated cost of ₹18 crore. Work on the second stretch—2 km from Pali railway overbridge to Thapkhaira—is already underway.

Near the authority’s office, the 105- and 130-metre-wide roads will intersect. For direct connectivity with Noida Airport, work has begun on the remaining 3 km of the 130-metre road.

Covering 358 acres near Bodaki village, the multimodal hub will house Greater Noida’s main railway station with trains to eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. Boundary-wall construction has commenced. Besides rail, the hub will offer metro and bus services; approval for Aqua Metro connectivity has already been received.

Senior manager Sunny Yadav said the peripheral road will be built at a cost of ₹18 crore; drainage along the road is included. Villagers of Junpat, Thapkhaira and others will benefit. Project general manager A.K. Singh stated that tenders for the second section will be finalised by September.
