Arena Animation FC Road (Pune Camp) is a flagship centre of Aptech’s 28-year-old Arena brand, strategically located opposite SP College on Fergusson College Road. Housed in a five-level, air-conditioned campus, the institute has trained more than 10,000 students since 1997 and is repeatedly honoured as Maharashtra’s “Best Creative Education Brand” by News18 and India Today for excellence in AI, animation, gaming, VFX and UI/UX design.

• AAIP – Animation & VFX (2-year flagship with modules in 2D/3D animation, dynamics, stereoscopy, compositing and Unreal Engine pipelines).
• GWDD – Graphics, Web Design & UI/UX (15 months, Adobe XD, Figma, React front-end and Google UX certificate).
• AAA – Advanced Animation & Game Art (18 months, sculpting in ZBrush, level design, Unity & Unreal, virtual production).
• VFX Pro & Compositor Pro (12 months, Nuke, Silhouette, PFTrack, Golaem crowd & AI-based rotoscoping tools).
• Short certs: Advance Photoshop & Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Blender Foundation, Unity XR & AI Prompt Engineering Workshops (40-80 hrs).
All courses embed Aptech-certified AI modules covering Midjourney, RunwayML, Stable Diffusion and NVIDIA GauGAN, paired with Meta’s Spark AR for AR filters.

• Labs: 120 HP Z8 workstations (RTX 4070Ti, 64 GB RAM), three 12-camera OptiTrack motion-capture stages, 64-core render farm plus Wacom Cintiq 22HD per seat.
• Studio: 24-seat chroma floor with 20′ × 16′ green screen, Dragonframe stop-motion rig and dedicated Unreal LED volume.
• Game Zone: Alienware Aurora R15 battle-boxes, PS5 dev kits and an Oculus Quest 3 library for rapid VR prototyping.
• AI Sandbox: On-prem NVIDIA DGX A100 server for diffusion training and custom style-transfer pipelines.
• Library & Resource Hub: 3,000+ reference reels, SIGGRAPH conference archives, perpetual Adobe & Autodesk licences, boomerang-shaped break-out pods for ideation.
Faculty & Industry Connect
Decades combine academic rigor with studio experience—mentors previously from Disney India, Prime Focus, Technicolor, Ubisoft Pune and Tata Elxsi. Monthly master-classes host guests such as Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Ben Snow or ex-Pixar art-director Dice Tsutsumi via Zoom. Students execute live briefs from JV partners like Rockstar India, DNEG, BYJU’S and Dream11; final reels screened at AVGC-XR Festival held on campus annually.
Placement & Incubation
A dedicated Corporate Relations cell records 6,000+ alumni in 900+ companies with an 85 % placement rate within six months. Recent destinations: SuperGaming, PlaySimple, Amazon Games, L&T Infotech XR Labs, DNEG Bangalore. MOU with MESC allows direct induction into India’s AVGC industry leverage scheme. Power Arena Studio, the on-campus incubation wing, co-produces indie titles—2023 release “Painted Asuras” clocked 1 M Steam downloads and absorbed eight graduating artists as full-time employees.
Community Life
Daily Discord jam sessions, weekly Unity/Unreal study circles, Quad-City game-dev hackathon every Diwali and cosplay contest during Pune Comic Con. The campus won GreenCo Gold for its rooftop solar array and recycled water loop.
Admissions
Open year-round; intakes in January, April, June and October. Scholarships up to INR 50,000 for merit plus need-based financing with leading NBFC partners.
