Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools – Delhi World Public School, Greater Noida (Sector-16) is a signature after-school football excellence programme delivered inside one of the National Capital Region’s largest green-field K-12 campuses. Founded on a partnership between India’s most capped footballer and Olympian, Mr. Bhaichung Bhutia, and Delhi World Public School Group, the programme launched in 2018 as an effort to provide structured talent pathways to youngsters who previously had access to elite coaching only in inner-city academies.

Location & Infrastructure
Set on a 12-acre plot alongside the Yamuna Expressway, the school counted more than 200 acres of adjoining playing fields when it became the fourth BBFS residential hub outside Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata. Within the campus, BBFS utilizes a full-size FIFA-approved natural-grass stadium (107 m × 72 m with 2,000-seat gallery), one synthetic 7-a-side turf conforming to FIFA Quality Pro standards, a fitness & medical centre fitted with cryotherapy and anti-gravity treadmills imported from Germany, classrooms converted into performance-analysis labs with Hudl & Catapult, and 120 twin-sharing rooms inside two separate hostels for U-13 and U-15 squads. Academic classrooms of Delhi World Public School – smart-board enabled, with STEM & language labs – are used for 4-hour daily catch-up lessons required for residential scholars (CBSE curriculum from Class VI-XII).

Coaching Framework
A head coach holding AFC Pro-Diploma (Philippines U-19 former assistant), two AFC A, three AFC B and five AIFF D coaches form the residential Academy, alongside specialised goalkeeper, conditioning and sports-psychology departments (S&C coach previously with Punjab Warriors Hockey). Squads are streamed by single-year age bands (U-8, U-9 … U-18) and train six days a week: morning technical session (75 min), afternoon game-intelligence slot (tactical video & match simulation, 60 min) and late-evening strength block (45 min). Bi-annual data camps at BBFS Bengaluru HQ map growth-velocity, agility and decision-making using GPS vests.

Player Pathway & Achievements
Residential trials are held every April–May across 25 Indian cities; 60 fresh scholarships (50 % to 100 % boarding-tuition) are awarded. Since inception, eight boys have graduated to ISL sides: Rohit Danu (listed in Hyderabad FC squad 2023-24), defender Muhammed Basith (RoundGlass Punjab, I-League) and goalkeeper Kabir Nath (NorthEast United reserve team). The U-17 girls’ squad won the 2022 Delhi state Reliance Foundation Development League undefeated; three athletes received call-ups for the AIFF Junior National Camp at Vasco.

Fees & 2024 Intake
Local after-school programme (four evenings a week) costs ₹4,850 per month including kit laundry; full residential Academy (Aug-May) ₹2.90 lakh plus ₹45,000 hostel & food. Children from Noida and Greater Noida West can opt for paid season-tickets on GPS-tracked AC shuttle. The 2024–25 residential trial dates: 7–8 April at JLN Stadium Delhi, 18–19 May at BBFS Greater Noida campus—online registration mandatory at bbfs.org.

Outreach & Community
To widen the base, BBFS coaches run free weekend “Grassroots Days” on the school grounds for under-14 government-school children from Bisrakh and Dadri villages; 35 have already transitioned into year-long scholarship seats.

With its world-class facilities, academically integrated residential format and proven record of producing professional players, BBFS-Delhi World Public School has become a destination for families from Delhi-NCR and beyond who dream of combining formal education with full-time football training under an India legend’s vision.
