New Modern Public School (NMPS) stands on a 7.2-acre eco-friendly campus on Jharsa Road, Sector-43, Gurugram, 12 km south of the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station and 35 minutes from the international airport. Founded in 1999 under the aegis of the New Modern Educational Society, the K-12 co-educational day school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and has been a Microsoft Showcase School for the last five successive years.
The three-storey building is organised into an airy, naturally-lit academic wing with 72 smart classrooms, six in-house STEM labs (robotics, 3-D printing, AI & design thinking), three state-of-the-art science labs for physics, chemistry and biology, and a fully networked 12,000-volume library that subscribes to 35 national and international periodicals. A 300-seat A-V auditorium, a 2,000 sq-ft dance–yoga studio and a dedicated performing-arts block form the creative spine of the institution.
Sports infrastructure meets twice-weekly, graded physical-education requirements and inter-school aspirations. The campus hosts a four-lane swimming pool (25 m), six synthetic badminton courts, two glass-backed squash courts, an astro-turf football and hockey ground, a state-level athletics track (200 m) and a newly installed climbing wall. Co-curricular life flourishes through twelve hobby clubs—Quiz, Chess, Astronomy, Environment, TED-Ed, Robotics, Model United Nations, Literary Café, Eco-brick Upcycling, Indian Classical Orchestra and Community Outreach.
Student strength currently stands at 1,950 across ninety-five sections with a pupil–teacher ratio of 18:1. Over 210 full-time faculty members include 15 Ph.D. holders and 55 post-graduates, and a comprehensive CISCE-certified continuous professional development calendar syncs pedagogy with the NEP-2020 recommendations. A strong remediation programme (Learning Acceleration Hub) and in-house counselling centre serve 220 differential learners.
Academically, NMPS recorded a 100 % Class X & XII 2024 pass percentage, with a school average of 89.4 %; 14 students scored above 98 %. The school’s flagship ACE (Art-Commerce-Engineering) and MDS (Medical-Dental-Science) integrated coaching tracks complement regular classes without extra commuting. Microsoft classrooms with cloud-based notebooks and AI-powered formative assessments were implemented two years ago with parent dashboard access.
Annual socio-emotional calendar spans from UN-level MUN, intra-mural NPSC sports leagues to month-long Seva Legacy project engaging 1,200+ student hours. Recent accolades include the British Council International School Award 2023–26 and Grand Champion at Technex IIT-BHU robotics challenge. Transport fleet of 45 AC buses covers Gurugram, Delhi, Faridabad and Dharuhera with RFID-based tracking and female attendants, ensuring secure, GPS-monitored commutes throughout the NCR.
